On May Day some of the Biodanza Euston group met for a lovely walk in Finsbury Park and Woodberry Wetlands.

Back-to-back and face-to face greetings

It was fun in the station experimenting with back-to-back and face-to-back greetings. Especially as it was a cold day and we were all wearing lots of layers. Who cared about the funny looks from the passers-by?

We nearly missed the giant artichoke plants!

Gita led us through the park and it was wonderful to be together and to see the beautiful blossoms and the ducks on the lake. We were chatting so much that we nearly missed the giant artichoke plants!

In the outdoor cafe we found two tables close by to each other, so we could keep within the rule of 6 people on a table. It was so exciting to sit together and everyone found something they liked on the menu for lunch.

The cold drizzle wasn't going to stop us

After lunch we were still enjoying being out together and wanted to walk more. The cold drizzle wasn't going to stop us. Gita took us round to the wetlands and it was amazing to see a huge swan's nest in the New River. At the wetlands it was time to stop again for a cuppa to warm up and some of us even managed to dance a bit to the music playing in the takeaway cafe. Eventually the weather got too much and we wandered off to the tube, what a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
