The Truth of the Body

A Biodanza, Voice and Percussion Deepening Workshop

Every disease is a musical problem; every cure is a musical solution. - Novalis

There is a rhythmic harmony that exists in our universe and with our bodies. Our atoms and those outside of us all move in coherence with this rhythmic harmony.

The atoms move with infinite truth and the knowledge of the whole. Life is here, it pulsates, it connects, it expresses, and so therefore do we. The more in-tune we are with our own natural rhythm and body - the more fluid our movement is and thus the more connected we are to our emotions (which is important for health and wellbeing).

A journey into sound

In this workshop we will be taking a journey into sound, connecting to the Universal rhythms, searching inside for the music within us and using our voice and breath.
We will create our own organic movement and emotion that, in turn, will begin to produce its own unique dance.

This movement will create its own healing vibration.

We will stimulate the dance of the voice through the breath, our natural rhythms, internal and external movements and through our connection to life as a tribe.

Our voice is a primordial instrument

Our voice is a primordial instrument which uses nature as it's teacher. In this Biodanza workshop we will use the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water, as well as the medium of singing, drumming and percussion to integrate emotion, movement and the voice.

We will invite the deep wisdom that is already within us out to play. and enter cosmic fusion ( the great mystery of life).

Join us as we explore and reclaim our voice - our own personal unique sound, so that we can write our song of life.

Life must not be a novel that is given to us, but one that is made by us. ― Novalis,

For this workshop we will bring our own favourite piece of percussion such as a drum, shaker etc. A live drummer and sax player will play in this session and there will be a Kirtan at the end.

Food will be on a bring and share basis

Workshop starts at 2.00 pm until 7 pm.

Cost:
Full Priced ticket £60
